Even though it is the middle of the summer here in the US that doesn’t mean that it is the middle of the summer all over the planet. Take Australia for example. They are actually in the middle of winter. And what is the best way to chase away the winter blues? That is an easy answer, go racing in a whole bunch of vintage race cars. Reason #1932 that I want to live in Australia.

A collection of about 150 vehicles is going up for auction in Bennington, Nebraska, next month. According to the auction description, the collection was assembled over the last 35 years and includes vehicles from 1906 through the 1980s.

Hot Rod Project of the Day. Today’s project of the day isn’t your typical hot rod project. But maybe thats why I like it so much. It is a 1958 English Ford. If has a lot done to it already and the stance is spot on. As far as motor choices go I think that a 2.3L turbo SVO motor is the only way to go. Click here for more information.
